I really enjoyed The Robot Big Build Day because I got the chance to meet kids from other schools. Also, I really enjoyed building the Colour Sorter because the chance to sit down and build Lego with my friends is a chance I couldn’t refuse.
At the end we got to show off our skills to parents. I could see everyone else was enjoying it too.

(Photo above shows a selection of the Robot Big Builds built each day on two days by over twenty children . Not only did we build robots, we met new friends, helped each other out when things became difficult and listened to I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. We worked mainly in pairs, a few on their own and, for the extended Elephant build, worked as a three. At the end of the day we presented our working Robot to our parents and the other members of the group. Please see on YouTube.)
