Detect and React

Members of Alverstoke Juniors Robot Club took the basic program using a conditional statement to detect a colour and then react to say the colour and adapted it.

In Mindstorms a switch block was used. In Python an ‘if’ or ‘elif’ would be used.

They then used their imagination and, not only did the Robot say the colour, it displayed the name of the colour on the screen and moved around. Another member programmed the Robot to play a different musical note when each colour was detected. Amazing ideas and great programming.
